About Akshaya Tritiya
Akshaya Tritiya falls on Vaishakha Shukla Tritiya. Akshaya means that which never diminishes, and any good deed, purchase or charity on this day is believed to grow without end.
It is one of the few days considered auspicious through the whole day, so weddings, griha pravesh and new businesses are started without a separate muhurat. It is also Parashurama Jayanti.
How to celebrate
Worship Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi in the morning.
Buy gold, silver or something lasting for the home.
