Marriage Muhurta 2026
Find the most auspicious dates for your wedding using traditional Vedic Panchang analysis
What is Marriage Muhurta?
Marriage Muhurta (Vivah Muhurta) is the Vedic practice of selecting an auspicious date and time for a wedding ceremony. Rather than choosing a date purely based on convenience, Vedic astrology evaluates the cosmic alignment at the proposed time using five Panchang elements — Tithi (lunar day), Nakshatra (lunar mansion), Yoga (lunisolar combination), Karana (half-day), and Vara (weekday).
Beyond the Panchang, a good Muhurta also considers the planetary positions of Jupiter and Venus (the two benefic planets most connected to marriage), the rising Lagna at the ceremony hour, and personal astrological factors like each partner's Moon sign and Nakshatra compatibility.
